THINK TWICE BEFORE CALLING ALLIED PICKFORDS

This document is the product of a very bad experience we had with Allied Pickfords in South Africa during our relocation to Australia. I refer to Allied Pickfords slogan: "At Allied Pickfords we understand that we're not just moving your furniture; we're helping you change your life. With everything you have to think about, you shouldn't have to worry about the move itself". Let me assure you, they definitely changed our lifes by reducing me, and my wife's life expectancy by a good 10 years. With everything we had to think about, this was in the end probably our biggest nightmare - dealing with Allied Pickfords. I can assure you this experience having to trust Allied Pickfords with literally everything we own was definitely, as stated before, life changing, and then have to literally give our possessions away because an Allied Pickfords representative insisted that there is no more space in the container. Later to find the exact opposite. And so the list go on, ending with a senior staff member blatantly refusing to address our concerns.
