In 2012 June I took a life cover insurance through my Medical Aid (Bonitas) and they collected their premiums by means of debit order in my account. Last month I received a call from Leylani who informed me that my June premium is outstanding I was so surprised I went through my ban statement and I didn't see an unpaid items, so it was obvious that the insurance never paid any debit order instruction. So she told that I can make an arrangement to pay the premium in 2 installments which I agreed. She later e-mailed me that if I pay in installments I will on 3 months waiting period I then refused to be on a waiting period. I gave them an option to give me back all my premium and start afresh the policy in that way I can agree to be on a waiting period. Or I just pay and no waiting period applies they refused. Now I want all my premiums back and I don't want to do business with them. As they by being Medscheme and I now get correspondence from Legacy insurance, I can foresee problems for my family I want my money all of it.
