I am astounded at the service of this medical insurance. They clearly state in there application forms that there is a 1 month waiting period to go to the doctor and a 3 month waiting period to go to hospital. Nowhere on the applciation does it state that MOST operations will only be covered after a 1 year period. A hysterectomy will only be covered after a 2 year waiting period. I have also requested a list of doctors in my area, to date received nothing! My partner was diagnosed with Fibroids during last week, which was after i joined this medical insurance. The doctor advised that if this Fibroids grow in size (she must go back after 3 months) - an emergency hysterectomy will have to be performed as it will just continue to grow.

So, my medical insurance is telling me that she will have to let something grow in her for 2 years before they will cover it? That is pathetic service to say the least. And all of this, despite the fact that they advised a colleague of mine, that if you are diagnosed with a condition after you joined the scheme, it will be covered.
