The service I received in this Hospital in their Cape Town branch previously known as City Pak as I was admitted for labour on the 10 June until the 13 June 2013. I find it totally unacceptable as we are paying huge amounts for the service they offer. I previously gave birth there and the service by then was up to standard, however the standard has lowered in their labour ward as their focus seems to be more on making money that making their patients comfortable and happy. It was caotic in this Hospital during this time as they seemed to be understaffed, you would ring the bell for assistance several times with no one to help you. As the person who gave birth with caesarean I have to beg the nurses for pain killers as they would skip times to give us medication. I also realised that the problem might be from the lack of communication between doctors and whoever is in charge as the doctors keep on booking their patients and the hospital end up over flooded with patients while the staff is limited. This is totally disgusting and I hope they will consider this and improve their standard
