Bad treatment of patients and staff incompetency

On Saturday, 16 Feb 2013, i took my mother (79 yr old) to Lilian Ngoyi Hospital she had a hip problem and terrible cough, we arrived there at past eleven in the morning told to sit in the banch while i had a referral from Jabulani clinic for an x-ray for my mother. We were made to sit in the waiting area until doctors came from their consultation rooms to take in patients the lady that was working there had vanished. We got to the doctors room at 16h45, by then the x-ray had long closed at 4pm, the doctor told us that there is nothing the ca do we have to come in sunday in the morning and gave her bruffein & pain tablets. We came back the following morning at 7h30 and were taken in for x-ray around something to nine, when we got to the same doctor i was told that my mother has a stone on her uteras we where then referred to Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital, where we finally attended to after a long wait. She was finally escorted to the doctors side for admission around 11am. Patients are not allowed to be escorted by their families to that side and what i realised after i forced my way in is that if you can't explain what your problem is some doctors will move to the next patient
