Fedhealth Medical Scheme
Disgusting

I have been on Fedhealth for /- 10 year. Paying a minimum premium of R2000 a month. I have had the minimum claims and paid a of a lot out of my pocket. So on Thursday the 11th of July I get a SMS from them saying that they have handed me over to ITC because of non-payment of my account. I have left the Fedhealth the end of May 2013 receiving a resignation letter and termination of membership letter. That was the last e-mails or correspondence ever from them. I have never received a sms, phone call, voice msg or email from them before about this. They claim that on there side they did send a sms in June. I can honestly say I did not receive it When I terminated my membership I specifically asked if there will be any hidden costs. I was told no only the last contribution.. Now I am on ITC for a whole R315 rand after paying a contribution of R3600 a month since January 2013. Where did all the money go???!!! The best is that I have never received a notice of payment with any form of banking details where to pay the R315 to. How can they justify this and put somebody on ITC just like that. Fedhealth is disgusting in there practice of business. Shame on them.
