Myself and my travelling party experienced the most rude and disrespectful service from uShaka Palms Guesthouse owner Jenny than we have ever received before.
1. She failed to confirm a booking for 5 - 7 July which was made and paid for on the 28th May. I had to make a follow up call in which she told me she would charge an additional R200 which wasn't on the invoice
2. She called my initial contact person (not myself who had made the payment) ON the 5th July to say she was expecting us the next day despite both her invoice and my payment confirmation stating 5 -7 July.
3. She fobbed me off to her daughter Claire when I called her to address this apparent miscommunication
4. We were moved to another guesthouse on arrival, with no explanation and were met and attended to by Claire
5. She didn't answer a phone call during the weekend we made to ask about something but received an sms on Sunday with instructions of where to leave the keys on departure. Not a care of how our stay had been.
6. The same initial contact received a rude call to make sure we check out by 2pm when we had already left and despite check out never having been advised.
7. We never met Jenny
