Im very upset with the service recieved from discovery. Im actually appalled. I applied on behalf of my husband for a application for himself as he doesnt have access to email or the internet. My husband was a member but because it was becoming too pricey for me to cope he wanted to go on his own. We then applied on the 7 June. I called the call centre as documents was needed and with him in my presence he then gave consent for me to speak to discovery. Apart from all information sent to New Business, when i called today the 5 July 2013 almost a month from applying they never recieved consent on the system. They still couldnt help me when i provided the height and weight and was so unhelpful. We applying for him to become a member and he was a member im sure it doesnt take a month for a application to be processed. To be quiet honest, it feels like we should save the extra buck and go to bonitas or fedhealth as there service is quick and friendly. After today I myself want to move medical aids. New business means you want to welcome with open hands and get people on board not take one month to do a application. The more im explaining to the consultants my husband gave
