Dolphin Beach Hotel
Attempt of Burglary - No involvement of Police

I attended a Workshop of my Company in the Dolphin Beach Hotel from 01.07.-04.07.2013. In the morning of the 04th July at about 3:45am I was woken up by noise coming from my living room. I jumped out of my bed and saw a guy trying to force the window open. I shouted at him and stroke against the window and he ran away. I involved the receptionist who was by chance in front of my door. He just said he was very sorry, checked quickly the balcony and walked away. Afterwards he called to tell that Security is patrolling. Of course I was not able to sleep after that, so I stayed awake. In the morning the Front Office Manager asked me about the incident, I wanted to show her the marks at the window, but she was not interested. As well there was no intend to involve the Police. Of course nothing was, because I chased him away, but at least there should have been done a report to the Police.
I will not stay in that Hotel again as I now feel very unsafe there.
