Impossible to cancel medical aid

I gave a months notice to have my medical aid cancelled by June 30. On July 1st it was still active and I phoned in. It had not been actioned yet and I was promised that it would be done by lunch that same day. The medical aid is still not cancelled. how many times will I have to phone in before they cancel it. The worst service!
