Annona Day Spa
Very shabby and shoddy service

On 29 June myself and 3 friends went to Annona Spa. We paid in advance for a 5 treatment package. Upon arriving at the spa there wasn't anyone to greet us, eventually a lady came along and I told her who we were and she just said "ok, follow me". We were taken through the spa and across the courtyard to a table and lunch was plonked in front of us. We weren't hungry so asked if we could have it later. 20 minutes later the lunch was still sitting on the table. One of my friends went to the bathroom which was dirty, no loo paper and no water. Apparently the water dries up completely when the next property fills up the koi dam. (one would think that the owners would ask the neighbours to fill up the dams in the evenings when there weren't any guests at the spa) The water did come back on. We were taken into a treatment room which was too small for 4 ladies and the treatments were okay but the therapists are definitely not trained properly. We did only have 4 treatments instead of the 5 that we had booked for, but I don't think we were short changed in this regard. The property is nice, but the towels, gowns and -tubes could be updated. Staff also need an attitude adjustment.
