Paid up-front for 6 treatments-received 4 no ref

My wife paid for a total of 6 treatments and advised that the 7th would be free and treatments would be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Treatments progressed well until last week, when my wife called and advised that she was unwell and could not make the treatment for that day. The daughter in whose name the business is registered, did not note this, especially when my wife requested that she be booked for another day.

When my wife called to enquire whether she had been booked for the next treatment, she was told that she was not booked at all.

On Wednesday, 23/10 my wife was booked for 16:30 after being told by Riena (daughters' mother) that she would arrange for someone else to fill the 15:30 appointment. This treatment did not take place and was not recorded.

Today (Friday, 25/10) Riena called and asked my wife to come at 13:30, after giving her a card confirming that her appointment was for 16:30 for Friday, 25/10. When requesting to cancel the entire remaining treatments, Riena advised that my wife had already received 6 treatments and that there was no refund due.

With the cancellation of the two treatments we are owed R500-00 and these people refuse to cough-up
