Margate Holidays Bad Attitude & Fabrications

My family booked the long weekend (14/6 to 17/6/2013) at Eden Rock in Ramsgate through Margate Holidays Unlimited. My cousins bakkie was broken into the very first night. The bakkie was parked in the yard behind closed gates. The alarm at the house was set off and the ADT guards did arrive and are aware of the break in. The alarm kept going off every night during our stay and we did hear the sound of stones being thrown on the roof at night. On the day of our departure, we ensured that the house was neat and tidy. The dishes were all washed and the floors mopped.

I was utterley amazed when I got to work on Tuesday and received a mail from my brother-in-law. This was a mail sent from Belinda at Margate Holidays with accusations that the house was left in a disgusting state with many damages (please view attachment of mail sent). I had not viewed the photos as my pc does not accept large files.By reading the mail, my first thought was that the house was broken into after we left. But I also became very suspicious because the mail gave me the impression that this was just a ploy to keep our breakage deposit. Belinda mentioned in her mail that the repairs would cost way above r1000
