Promising accommodation and not adhering to it

I booked accommodation with Alfonso Middleton of Adventure Accommodation which included a house and a garden flat. In order to secure my booking a deposit was paid. I recently contacted Alfonso in order to find out how much I owed on the accommodation and was rudely informed that the house has actually been sold and the owner would be moving into the garden flat as of October. I informed him that this was unacceptable as our party would no longer fit in the house and we did not want to have to share the accommodation with someone else. His response was that it was too bad and it was not his problem and if I didn't like it then I must cancel my booking. He dropped the phone in my ear and shortly thereafter sent an e-mail in order to cancel my booking. I am honestly shocked at the complete lack of service delivery and what shocked me even more was that I was never contacted and informed of the situation, it was only brought to my attention because I happened to send him an e-mail to enquire about the booking! I highly recommend that you DO NOT book any accommodation through adventureacc.
