I got in touch with Discovery regarding the non-payment of two of my claims. the first person that I spoke to (Joe) very kindly mentioned that he was looking into my query and would get back to me within the next two days - this was on the 22 May. I called again this morning and spoke to Jocelyn. Jocelyn advised that nothing was passed on from Joe with regards to the radiology report and motivation letter that was requested by Discovery in order to review the claim. She further mentioned that this would take a further three to four working days till I got an answer.

As you can see, I have waited a long time since the 20th May to get an answer and was not prepared to wait a further three to four days and requested to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold and the call was cut. Nobody has bothered to get back to me even though my mobile number was confirmed right at the beginning of the call. I have since gotten letters of demand from the medical providers due to the non payment of this claim which is quite frustrating to say the least.

Would appreciate someone looking into this.
