Delay in refunding savings to an estate account

As the Executor of my late Mother's estate, I am endeavouring to finalize matters as expeditiously as possible. There appears to be a distinct effort on Fedhealth's part to hold onto funds that should have been repaid. My Mother passed away on 07/01/2013 and her membership terminated on 31/01/2013 and despite supplying them with a Death Certificate and a Letter of Executorship, I am still awaiting the refund. Every communication, written or verbal, results in another delayed payment date. Staff contradict themselves and constantly make excuses as to why it has not been refunded and when it will be refunded. I wonder if this is how they handle claim refunds of their members as well? The more recent responses were as follows: email from Chenelle Van Zyl 27/05 refund would be paid that evening / verbal discussion with Sue? refund would be in the estate a/c on 06/06 / email from Danica Potgieter 05/06 refund has been loaded and would appear in the a/c 11/06. No doubt there is the possibility that this will change again! I am now completely frustrated and dissatisfied.
