I requested an authorisation to see a specialist on the 3rd of April it is now the 4 June, I still have not received an answer regarding this, Ive called discovery numerous times (25 times if not more) during this waiting period and all they keep telling me is that its been sent to their clinical department and when i phone again they say its sent to forensics, so every time its a different story. They keep saying it will take 2 days i mean its been 60 days since i sent my initial request Ive reached the point where I'm so close to cancelling my medical aid, and every time they transfer me to a manager that's never available to follow up on and they keep saying we'll call you back which they never do and i have to end up calling them back just to get an unfavourable reply. This is poor customer service as well as poor service delivery. Will be DEAD by the time i receive my authorisation.
