Blue Marlin Dump! Avoid It!

I took my wife and 12 year old son to stay at the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scotburgh KZN from 24 to 31 December 2012.We checked the hotels details on their website [URL Removed] paid full board and in advance, a sum of around R13, 000.On arrival, I was immediately concerned by a hint of delapidation in reception... this was to get worse. The room we stayed in had a "side-room" to accomodate our 12 year old... this room measured about 6m x 1, 3m and only had 2 small windows high up on one wall and no fan. The heat in this room in December was intolerable and he slept with us, 3 people jammed into a double bed, with a free-standing fan. His room's light fitting was missing and the switch had been taped with masking tape (Paper = surely a safety code offence!). The light fitting in our part of the room was about to fall off the wall and the bathroom was what I would term desperate, with mould and peeling paint on the ceiling and the bath was too narrow to use, while to balance hot and cold water was impossible.
