Rat infected tent/cabin

R500 was paid to Fijnbosch Cabins and Retreat (elainscape), Stellenbosch (tent/cabin) from Saturday 18 May 2013 until Sunday 19 May 2013 at 11am.
Saturday night at 21:37 I emailed Elaine (owner) informing her of the rat problem. She claimed she was un-aware of the problem and it would be checked out in the morning.
We couldnt sleep in a cabin where we are bombarded with at least 2 pairs of eyes and the rest of the pack running up and down the canvas roof.
Taking into consideration that we had no choice but to leave in a rush at 22:27 on Saturday night because of the rats, we do expect to get a refund.

After sending her the email stating that we had left, she didnt respond to any email after that.
I informed her on Monday, 20 May 2013, that I expect feedback and a refund from her by today no later than 1pm otherwise I'd have to take this matter further. (She still did not respond)

The consumer has the right to fair value, good quality and safety.

Rats carry disease and ectoparasites. Rats will also attack and kill both animals and humans.
