Very Bad expiernece at the Emergency Ward

Saturday 18th May I took my 6 yeard old daughter to the emergancy ward for extremeley bad eczema. When i got there I addressed by a very nice and friendly recpetionist, who attended to me promptley. I was told my daughter will be assest and then will see a doctor. 15min later a sister called us, she took my daughters blood pressure and temp, asked what the problem was, but didnt even bother to look??? I was given a sheet that said I was code yellow and it would take a doctor 60 minutes to see her. So we sat and waitied. We waited for 3 hours before my husband eventually asked if I file was even inside for us to be seen, only then 10 minutes later did a nurse fetch us. She said they were sorry for wait but we need to wait abit longer as the doctor had gone to ICU, we then waitied another 1 hour and still had not been seen. We were told there was only one docotr on call for the emergancy ward and any other problem with in the hosiptal e.g the doctor having had to gone to ICU. I walked out of 4 very long hours with little girl who had not been seen? Sr Griesel called and said she was very sorry and would investigate and phone me back with in a half hour - she never did? wont go back!
