Double Booking, No Refund

My friends and I booked at Fijnbos Cabins for 8 people to spend New Year's Eve through the owner Elaine Skidmore. Although we have paid the full amount of R1760 in advance, we were informed that the cabin we booked was not available as they had "plumbing issues". As other friend of ours were staying at the accommodation, we went to Fijnbos Cabins on that day and found out that other guests were staying at where we were supposed to stay. Even though we ended up sleeping outside on mattresses, Elaine refused to refund.

The lack of ethics is simply unacceptable and I urged to report you my experience in order to protect other travellers.
