Useless customer care and an absolute rip off

Earlier this year in February i was tended to by Netcare 911 paramedics for a medical emergency, one paramedic arrived on the scene and tended to me putting up a drip ect, he then radioed in for an ambulance to collect me and transport me to hospital. I did not make the call to request any paramedics and was not informed at any stage during my horrific ordeal that there would be any costs involved. Firstly the paramedic on scene raidioed for the ambulance, 30 min later still no ambulance, he called again and supposedly they were around the corner, almost 4 hours later after having my life risked even more and being transported in a car not allowed to transport me we met the ambulance outside crompton hospital in pinetown. i received an sms a few days after being discharged asking for almost R5000 to pay for the ambulance. I immediately called customer care and was told it would be investigated as i refuse to pay this bill well it is now 3 months later and i am still having to contact Netcare to follow up and get told i will be contacted which never happens!!! I am extremely fed up and feel the world needs to know the truth behind netcare 911 and their rip off accounts!!!
