MY daughter has ATOPIC DERMITITIS our GP is referring her to a pediatritian as he is quering Ashtma. I saw our GP on 12/05/13 in order to get everything sorted as i know i always have problems with discovery which i dont even want to mention as the list has no ending, they the worst medical aid and i will definately be changing mine soon. On the 15/05/13 at 17:18 i received a sms from discovery stating they received my request to see a specialist however they are waiting on additional infomation which i made it my duty to contact them and then call my DR and tell him what the problem is so he can fix it which he did. Today 16/05/13 i contacted discovery call centre to confirm that all is in order, a consultant tells me he cant check if they received the form which i think is then i explained to him that i really need this autharisation # for my 1 year old daughter who is not well and needs to see a pediatrician he then tells me well im going to have to allow the normal turn around time of 2 working days which means ill have the auth # by Monday, i explained to him that its unacceptable as i urgently need it, he passed me to a manage Bongekile Ngxola who is just as useless.
