Good day, I have been a member of Medihelp for over 1 year and to this date logged one claim.
I recently fell ill with sinus and have required two sets of doctors visits and medications.
As part of the Necesse option I was told that I can only visit the ONE doctor that is part of your network of doctors in JHB south. Upon calling the call centre I was told that Authorisation will be provided for service providers outside of the Necesse network. Upon my first visit authorization for my doctors visit as well as dispensing of medication was denied. Authorisation: N2013050800238.

Today 13/05/2013 I had to visit another doctor as I was still unwell. I therefore called in for a second time and was provided with a authorization number. Yet again authorization was denied and after sitting in the pharmacy the dispensing of medication was denied. Authorisation: N2013051300044.

I called your call centre upon arriving home and instead was told the medication on my script was not covered by the network option.
Instead of providing me with alternative options authorization is simply denied.

Numerous excuses exist. Always deviating from the fact that your customer is unwell!!
