In 2014 my mom purchased furniture (Lounge suite) at Ellerines Furnishers Empangeni. The problem started when they delivered the next day. I refused to sign as it was an incomplete suite given. The delivery people refused to take is back and I had refused to sign. A few months down the line we hear that they are under Business Rescue by this pathetic bank and that our acconts where handed over to African Bank. If, my mom wanted a LOAN she would've definitely not come to your bank and asked for it.
Now, Lounge suite was taken over a 36 month pay period which ended in July. Yet more than 3 years later. You people are still debiting my mom's account. We have tried to get statements out of your incompetent staff placed at your branches, however, they only produce a small piece of paper that shows a recent payment only. You people are actually owing my mom money for all the years you debited over the 3 years. Now I have been through all channels but clearly from the agents to your managers they are all useless. I will now be putting this issue across all social media platforms and I am also communicating with Speak Out as I see this is the only way to resolve this issue by exposing your bank. Your agents failed to show me a copy where my mom signed and acknowledged that she will be owing African Bank. Kindly have this resolved ASAP. As I will be going through with Speak Out since you are clearly failing to assist me. I would like nothing more than your scheming bank to reimburse my mother aswell provide documents where she signed agreeing to this rubbish agreement as if she took out the loan which she never applied for. African Bank sort this out ASAP!!!
