I have 2 accounts with African Bank - credit card and loan account. I have conducted both these in a stisfactory manner, never skipping any repayments since I've had these facilities available to me for more than 2 years.
I never receive any statements for the loan account even after several requests for these to be posted to me, Also my bank account is debited each month on the 24th even though the contract I've signed states that it should be debited on the 25th of each month. To make matters worse there was a double deduction of repayments on my bank accoount by African Bank for both credit card and loan account leaving my account with insufficient funds for my bond repayment. I contacted African bank on the weekend after this horrible discovery and was told it would be refunded to me by Wednesday (29/05/13). Nothing has been paid into my bank account! I've left several messages on all numbers for the complaints department, even sent a few emails explaining the situation and no-one, from African Bank, has responded.
