Kloofzicht Lodge
Definitely Not a 5 Star Restaurant

My husband booked for us to stay at the Lodge for my Birthday.
We booked two Rooms and went to the Restaurant on 27th November for my Birthday Dinner.
The Menu did not cater for our dietary requirements even though this was specified at time of booking. There was no Chicken, Lamb or Fish on the Menu. We called the waitress and asked her to enquire from the Chef if he could make us a lamb dish and her reply was that the Meat was used already.
I asked for a simple Garlic Roll with Cheese and they didn't even have this. I asked for a Prawn starter and they couldn't make one. We were so hungry as we travelled the same day and it was so annoying and frustrating.
It was almost 8h30pm and I have two kids aged 4 and 6 Months, there was absolutely no remorse or apology whatsoever.

The ambience and music at the restaurant was also very poor. We have been to 5 Star Restaurants before and this is definitely not a 5 Star.

We had to drive around with my two kids late at night in the cold looking for a Restaurant to have Supper. This was the worse holiday ever!!!

The waiter actually agreed that the Menu did not have a variety of meals.
My Birthday Dinner was ruined. We were all extremely disappointed.

There was no prawns, no fish, no lamb. The Menu is definitely not a 5 Star Restaurant Menu, it is so limited. The Buffet Breakfast was also not impressive. There was no Chicken or Lamb Sausages.
Just a very simple, plain menu, Nothing on it was even tasty.

I will not recommend the Lodge and Restaurant to my friends and family.
