Hudson's Burger Joint
Disappointing Service from Highly Rated Restaurant

I visited Hudson's Burger Joint on Somerset for a birthday dinner and was extremely disappointed with the service from this highly regarded restaurant. Our birthday party was part of a set menu that evening and unfortunately I am one of the few that don't eat burgers, I phoned into the restaurant the day before to enquire if I was allowed to order another meal, they assured me that this would be okay.

I arrived at the restaurant for the dinner and then told by the waitress that I wouldn't not be allowed to do this and I had to stick with the set menu. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ME PHONING IN ADVANCE TO ARRANGE THIS THEN??!! I told the waitress and she then said it would be okay. Her manager then approached the table and told me that they wouldn't allow this for a number of reasons. Understandable but please don't make empty promises to your expectant customers.

I sent an email to Hudson's explaining my disappointment and was met with an email FROM THE OWNER telling me that I gave him attitude as it was " for tat" and numerous excuses as to why he had attitude with me and the party. To be honest, it's called CUSTOMER SERVICE. Needless to say, I would not recommend this restaurant!
