Faulty Samsung 40" LCD TV

On 18 February 2013 I took my television to T M Electronics for repairs only to be told that the component was not available and the TV should be scrapped. As it was just out of extended warranty period, I was told that a depreciation offer could be made. To date nothing has been received despite numerous phone calls and total lack of communication, they are unable to advise me of the status.
