Galaxy S4 waste of money

How can my Galaxy S4 that costs R9000 be such a terrible device??? 3months and I have been having the infamous swollen battery problem. It swelled up to such an extent that my screen had shifted!!! I called, emailed, done everything to get it sorted only to find out I have to go to their service center for them to "assess" my phone. I have to do this during working hours..problem is, I WORK!!! to pay off a phone that doesnt even work! I ccant get to the service center and I do not want a battery, I want a new phone that does not have burn marks where the battery should be, or a screen that is no longer flush with the phone. I tried using 2 friends batteries, so it works, but my phone heats up to the point where you could probably fry an egg on it. %mins of playing a game and my phone is literally on the verge of melting (not the battery heating up but the top half of the phone)

So now I cannot get my phone sorted because I work. What do I do???
