Battery Failure Samsung Galaxy S4

The battery on my 3 month old Samsung Galaxy S4 has started failing, terribly. Today my phone switched off more than 25 times even though my battery was fully charged. The battery is swollen and heats up when charging. I talked to Samsung through Vodacom and was informed that S4 batteries are currently out of stock and they will/may get stock 'next week'. What am i expected to do until then?
