We bought the fridge/freezer combination on the 19/04/2010 for our holiday home. It became faulty in December 2011, a week later Zander Conradie from DZ Appliance responded and orderd a part which he could only install when we already left our holiday home. In April, the unit was faulty again. We requested that the unit should be exchanged. Samsung refused and gave us an extended warranty, when we arrived here in December 2012 the fridge was not functioning, We reported it. Someone from DZ Appliance responded a week later, he poured, boiling water on ice that formed in the bottom half of the fridge. When he left there was a gas smell and the freezer also stopped functioning. Zander Conradie from D Z Appliance came out on Friday 21st of December, saw that pipes were cracked and the gas leaked out, on Saturday 22 December fixed pipes, could not get gas in, told us that the unit could not be repaired. I phoned Samsung on Friday 21st of December to complain about service and the quality of a R14 000 unit which was only in use for maximum 4 months. After several phone calls to Samsung, Keletso Lwate offerd to exchance the unit if we pay R7 022.40. Its unacceptable!
