I reported the crack in the interior of my Samsung freezer in March this year to the agents Liptronics Cape Town. They sent out a Technician who reported the fault to Samsung Johannesburg. Since then Liptronics have tried to get a solution from Samsung Johannesburg (they said I could pay R7500 towards a new fridge freezer - bearing in mind my fridge/freezer was then 2 years old - doesn't say much about the value does it as a new one would cost R9000!!! I reported to Hellopeter on 21st Sept and got an immediate response from Sylvester in Johannesburg. A month later I was told that the fridge could be repaired with "a kit" and guess what "the kit" is out of stock. Then they said they couldn't get the part but they would get a better "depreciation value" - that was a week ago. If Samsung were an honest company they would admit that the crack is a fault and it can't be repaired and they should do the right thing and replace the appliance. I am disgusted at the service. I have waited 7 months for the problem to be resolved but enough is enough. After the immediate response from Samsung nothing has happened. What's wrong with doing the right thing don't people have values any more!
