Does anybody out there know what I should do to get Mastercare Earlybird to honour their commitments timeously and to improve their communication systems? I have had a contract with Earlybird for /-28 years and have never missed a payment to them. However, when they are called upon to honour the contract they simply cannot. I reported my tumble dryer out of order on 5 Nov. A technician visited my home and said a part had blown and he would order a new one. After 3 weeks he returned with the required part. He then advised that he had to take the machine as he did not know what the problem was. Since then I have made numerous telephone calls to the call centre and have spoken to several people including Mable & Doreen who all promised over and over again that I would be advised of progress but I still do not know when I am going to get my tumble dryer back. This morning I was told by the call centre that the spares had arrived. When they put me through to Lazarus to get a detailed update, he advised me that they were still waiting for spares! Doreen is now on leave and Riaan her replacement will be calling me to advise the status. Honestly, I will probably faint if he does call.
