Useless Samsung Freezer Power Failure

I would encourage readers of this complaint not to buy Samsung Freezers. They are expensive but poor quality products. We had a power failure two days ago (lasting a couple hours). When the power came back, all the other electrical appliances in the house (microwave oven, kettles, stoves, blenders, mixers and our Siemens Fridge) resumed working normally. The Samsung Freezer (which cost me R10, 000 to buy from Game Store Cresta, Johannesburg) stopped working for good. We logged a request for technical support (still under warranty) and Samsung Technical Support Services said their Technician would call us within a few hours to make an appointment (this was an emergency - the Freezer is stocked full of frozen food - meat, fish, vegetables, etc.). No one called!! I called Samsung Customer Support, they told me that they cannot help as they depend on their technicians' turnaround time of 24-48 hours (today is Friday, going into a long weekend - their technician will only be available on Tuesday 16th December. We have to throw away a lot of frozen food. Thanks Samsung! for poor customer service and a poor quality electrical appliance. I'll never again buy another Samsung product. NEVER!
