Samsung replaces one defective phone for anothe

On our Vodacom contract renewal in April 2013, my father received the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. The phone was defective and started showing signs of failure just after the first week and just past the swop out warranty. After a six month long battle - the phone was declared and OBF (out of box failure) and under recommendation we chose the Samsung S3 and paid in the difference for a new phone (different model).

Lo and behold this phone suffers from the same defect - sleep of death. What now Samsung... are you still going to blame vodacom as they gave us the phone on contract.

I am so sick and tired of driving back and forwards to repair centers so the phone can be tested, have software upgrades, retested, mainboards replaced... etc. 7 months and we do not have a working phone.

Some food for thought - obviously although the rest of the world is sorting out the problem, here in SA we are still way behind in accepting accountability.
