2 weeks and counting to repair a tablet!

Electronics and household app.

I handed in my Samsung tablet at Samsung Smart Care Centre - Constantia Business Park Roodepoort on the 4th of October. The consultant advised it takes about a week - 3 days to order and get the parts and 2 days to repair. I phoned today, after 2 weeks of not hearing anything from them and spoke to the manager Rudolph. According to him the parts have been ordered and will only arrive next Wednesday! Why tell the customer it will take a week when it won't??!! And I asked can nobody let me know and was told they do not have a call centre to phone 1000 customers a day about progress! Unbelievable... what happened to work ethic in this country?!
And another thing, a few weeks ago when I went to the same store to get a quote on repairing my tablet, I waited for way over an hour just to be seen by a consultant! There is no system in place, e.g. take a number and wait for your number to be called. You merely sit around all over the store waiting. You have to hope the customers are honest individuals and know who arrived before who. It is pathetic! I will NEVER go back to that store again, ever!
