Apple customer advise

At the age of 60, I wanted to spoil my wife, as she enjoys games with the grandchildren, on their parents' tablets & she has a email address for friends, I decided to purchase a mini ipad for her birthday for R5199. Back home we realised that this was not a very friendly device for the aged, signing up, itune registering, 24minute phonecall with Technical dept. etc. Then - no free games available in South Africa. I returned the ipad within 24hrs & was slapped with the iStore T's & C's (available on the web site only), 10% return fee, a Wopping R520. I proceded to buy a Samsung similar tablet from Makro for R3499. R1700 less, plus normal sim card slot, many, many, many free games, user friendly & no return fees, including for any apple products purchased at Makro.
