Quote for insurance purposes

On 19 April I was burgled and my iPad 2 32G wifi and 3G was.
I was at the Menlyn iStore on 21 April to get my mandatory quotes for insurance purposes and I t6old the sales consultant that and he quoted me.
I got a written quote that is valid for 7 days.

The insurance waited a month to finalise the claim because of other issues but when I was paid out the claim the iStore said that the iPad I wanted was discontinued and I have to have the 16G or the Gen 4 iPad.

If they had told me it was discontinued, I would have insisted to be quoted on the 4 because insurance principles are that you be restored to the same position you were before the loss ocurred unless that item was discontinued. Because I have been paid out already I cannot go back to the insurance company and the iStore refuses to come to the party because the quote is older than 7 days.

I feel that they need to replace my ipad 2 with the 4.
I have been a loyal customer of apple products and I hope there will be no need to boycott their products in the future because I love my ipod and iphone!!

Apple please sort this out!
