Ridiculous prices

I handed in my Apple Notebook for repairs to the Apple Store at The Glen last year for repairs as the laptop wouldnt turn on. A few days later I got a quote for over R9000. Apparently they had to replace the mother board because it was damaged from having dropped. (I have never dropped my laptop). Due to the exorbitant price I couldnt allow the laptop to get repaired and had put it away until recently this year when I was told by a friend about iFix at Melrose arch. I took the laptop for a quote as a last resort as I was about to discard of it. They quoted me R500 and had it fixed within 2 days. All it needed was an internal clean!

Ive never been more put off by a company. Apple simply takes advantage of people because of the brand that it is. I have since started slowly converting over to Samsung.

Very disappointed.
