Swindlers!

I inquired about a camcorder. The next day my wife was called and very rudely told she had to deposit the money immediately. After I had made up my mind, I transferred the money and was given a tracking number. Early this morning I received e-mail from the courier service that I had to pay an additional amount, almost the same as the price of the camcorder, for customs clearance, handling charges and tax!

The audacity of it doesn't stop there, however. After talking to Daniel, explaining to him I refuse to pay anything extra, he replies in an e-mail that I may now go ahead and pay the extra money to have the goods released. On top of all of this is also some Nikon D90 bundle which I never even ordered!

Now, obviously, I'm waiting to either get a full refund or the camcorder as per the original order, but very conveniently the "MD", if he exists, is not in the country.

I wish everyone in South Africa and wherever this mail will go, to know never to trust this crowd as they will only rip you off big time.
