Electronics and household app.

I phoned LG's call centre for the contact details of a repair agent in Cape Town. I was given the details of CT Electronics and was told they are the official service agents. I made a booking and after I put the phone down, I received a sms saying that I need to pay a callout fee of R627 in advance before they will even send someone out. Not liking the idea, but what else to do, I paid over the money. A technician came out, assessed that it was the belt that snapped and said that he would be back in a day or two to fix it. Later that day I received another sms saying that the parts will cost a further R320 and that I need to make payment before the parts will be ordered. Being desperate I paid the money. I was told that the parts will arrive in a weeks time. After a week I phone and was told that it will take another week. It went on like this until the last time I phoned, their lines were not working anymore. Company closed and money gone. It's a month later and I'm still battling wil LG to have my dryer repaired. This is totally nonsense for a company as big as they are. Where is the after sales service guys? Where is the communication? I definitely won't buy LG again
