I took my TV into TM Electronics for a repair for the second time. I was told the the same part had failed due to being hit by lightning again. I was told to either pay cash or put in an insurance claim as the part was a month out of warranty (only 3 month warranty offerred on Samsung parts) doesn't say much for the reliability of the part and workmanship!
I was eventually given a quote after many calls and being put on hold etc. I phoned the call centre at Samsung who were as unhelpful. In fact they assured me that they had spoken to Hennie the owner and that I should phone him back.when I did so Hennie had no recall of any call being received from Samsung. I eventually put an insurance claim as neither TM Electronics nor Samsung would take responsability. After countless calls to TM Electronics and promises for staff to get back to me I finally got someone to tell me that the TV was repaired. Only after I had to be rude and blatantly moan at them for poor service of which all I received were lame excuses.
Will I ever buy a Sumsung product knowing that the agents are useless, that the parts only carry a 3 month guarantee and that nobody cares or seems perturbed - NO!!!
