Refusal to supply textbook

I attempted to purchase a prescribed unisa text book through Van Schiak Boksburg. They did not have the book in stock and so placed an order for book transferal from Braamfontein to Boksburg so I could purchase the book. On January 15 I returned to Van Schaik Boksburg to check if my book had arrived. Braamfontein store had not even begun the process of sending the book. The Boksburg branch employee phoned the Braamfontein store and was told that Braamfontein would not send the book, and that if I wanted it I should drive to Braamfontein branch and purchase the book there. I have had to drive for two hours to purchase a book from Braamfontein. When there my enquiry as to why they refused to send the book to the franchise in Boksburg I was told several lying excuses, before being told that they won't send books out if they don't have more than three copies in store. What is the point of keeping stock aside for hypothetical future customers when there is a real customer needing the book, and then forcing the real customer to drive for 2 hours to purchase the book rather than shipping it to a sister store (as is possible).
