Application for admission not found

Last year I applied for admission (PGCE) I received the student number and I didn't pay application fee that was my fault.october this year I tried to apply again via internet and the message stating that my application was already on the system I have to pay application fee poped out. I paid R150 application fee.on the 17th of december I went to unisa for registration and they told me that they didn't get my application and there is nothing that shows that I did pay application fee therefore I have to wait and apply again next year in april... how possible is that???
