Unisa
Unisa not processing my application

I applied to study at Unisa in September this year. I electronically submitted all required certified documentation and paid the R100 fee and I received an sms confirming the payment.
To date there has been no response confirming my application approval, but I was issued a student number: 49329677, I went to Unisa Campus in Parow and I was told if I have been
issued a student number then my application is complete and approved and I have sent emails to Unisa but there has been no responce.
When I went for registration at Unisa I was told my application has not been approved and when I checked the online registration returns the following error:
"Your application to study at Unisa is incomplete. You either have admission documents outstanding or
have not paid your application fee or your studies still need to be approved. For further enquiries,
send an e-mail to study-info@unisa.ac.za or an SMS to 32695.", how do I get a student number if my application is incomplete?
