Wrong info given for registration

I originally tried to study a few years back at Unisa. I paid the application fee, submitted my documents and received registration documents. I also received my student number.

Unfortunately I couldn't study that year due to financial difficulties and did not register.

In 2012, I made plans to study in 2013. I phone the Admissions office and was told that I didn't need to apply as I already had a student number from my previous application. They told me to wait until registration and register for the course.

Now that I've tried to register within the correct period, I'm told that I need to submit more documents at application and I would have to wait until the next application! Why can I not amend my documents at registration?

I will happily drive the 70 km to Pretoria to help the process as I asked about this DURING THE APPLICATION PERIOD LAST YEAR!

My Student number is 46870911 and the course number which I would like to register for is 03980.

Please - I've made time from my job and money available to study this year and desperately want to do this course.
