Account being handed over to the Lawyers

I received a shocking call yesterday from a company called Nimble apparently DUT has handed over my account to the Lawyers what i don't understand is that i paid DUT long time ago where do they get that i am owing 10 000.
I am very angry and every time i try to contact them inquiries never answer their phones up until today. They really need to sort this out before i also send my lawyers to them.
