BEWARE THIS BUILDER!

Shoddy Workmanship! Electrical Work: not completed in accordance with the law and no electrical certificate issued. Plumbing: unbalanced geyser, no water pressure, running toilets. The new electrician and plumber were horrified at how work conducted by this builder was carried out. We had to have major work done on both the electrics and the plumbing to rectify his mistakes at huge costs to ourselves. He masquerades his son as an electrician yet he is unqualified. Cracked floor screed had to be chopped up and repaired. Painting the outside of the house was not completed, only one coat was applied using the cheapest paint. He was only present on the job when he wanted a payment. He moved from one big job to the next on site to ensure payment, resulting in unfinished projects throughout the house. On presenting him with a 4 page snag list he stated had decided to retire from building, sighting old age and illness, yet was seen working on another job in our old neighbourhood. Beware this man and his sons! It will cost you thousands to correct his wrongs. He is being sued by another unhappy client but ignores court orders and summonds. You have been warned!
