WORST BUILDER IN SOUTH AFRICA

On or about March 2013 my wife & I engaged an architect to do a renovation in sea Point on an existing apartment. At the outset we explained that we had a definite budget & explained this in detail ;it was for a simple renovation that involved some demolition of internal structures, modifying bathrooms, gutting kitchen & redo on electrical;we wanted to open tender for subcontractor work ;we then discovered that the architectural person did not like this arrangement;he had already contracted with an unscrupulous builder MICHAEL ROBERTS who worked on different multiple sites without supervising his workers;never co operated with any other people on site ;wouldn t share his timeline with anyone! He should never be working in the building industry until he has undergone remedial training;builder hired a Voight Plumbing conspired to bilk us out of funds for work not carried out, even plumbing supplies from the apartment;Dishonest! failed to carry out a lot of the work that was entrusted to him by architect;He, the builder was eventually fired!
